# | Gas Name | Mole Fraction (yi) | Moles (ni) | Partial Pressure | Actions |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Totals | 0.0000 | 0.0000 | 0.0000 atm |
How it works
Dalton's Law: Pi = yi × Ptotal. If you enter moles, the calculator computes yi = ni / Σni. Partial pressures are then reported in the same unit as your total pressure.
Tip: In fraction mode, the sum of yi should be 1.00. The tool auto-normalizes if you enter moles.
