Formula Used

  • Base day cost = billable_days × daily_rate × units
  • Base hour cost = billable_hours × hourly_rate × units
  • Premiums = weekend/holiday/overtime_hours × hourly_rate × units × (multiplier − 1)
  • Weekly discount = base_day_cost × weekly_discount% (when billable_days ≥ 7)
  • Rental subtotal = base_day_cost + base_hour_cost + premiums − weekly_discount
  • Pre-surcharge = rental_subtotal + delivery + pickup + accessories + operator
  • Percent surcharges = pre_surcharge × (fuel% + waiver% + insurance%)
  • Discount = (pre_surcharge + surcharges) × discount%
  • Tax = max(0, total_after_discount) × tax%
  • Total due = total_after_discount + tax
  • Effective capacity = units × capacity_per_unit × productivity_factor
  • Hours needed = concrete_volume ÷ effective_capacity
  • Recommended units = ceil(concrete_volume ÷ (pour_window × capacity_per_unit × productivity_factor))
