This calculator supports two approaches. In manual mode, you enter shares that sum to 100%. In modeled mode, it uses a multinomial logit structure with a generalized cost.

How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter project name, date, and total daily trips or loads.
  2. Select a method: modeled shares for scenario testing, or manual shares for fixed allocations.
  3. Fill mode inputs using consistent units and realistic per-trip values.
  4. If using modeled shares, tune weights and lambda to match sensitivity.
  5. Press calculate to view results above the form, then export.

Notes: Keep all costs in the same currency and all emissions in kg CO2 per trip. If a mode is not used, set its manual share to 0% or give it high generalized cost.
