Formula used

Labor = Hourly Rate × Estimated Hours

Visits = Site Visits × Fee per Visit

Travel = (Travel Miles × Mileage Rate) + (Per Diem Days × Per Diem Rate)

Recurring = (Equipment Monthly + Software Monthly) × Contract Months

Change Allowance = Change Orders × Average Change-Order Cost

Escalation Factor = (1 + Annual Escalation%)^(Contract Months / 12)

Time-Driven Costs (Escalated) = (Labor + Visits + Recurring + Change Allowance) × Escalation Factor

Direct Cost = Base Fee + Travel + Time-Driven Costs (Escalated)

Pre-Tax Total = Direct Cost × (1+Overhead%) × (1+Profit%) × (1+Contingency%)

Grand Total = Pre-Tax Total + (Pre-Tax Total × Tax%)
