Formula Used
This calculator converts safety performance inputs into a weighted score out of 100. Each category earns points based on thresholds and benchmarking ratios.
- EMR score (0–20): tiered scoring using EMR bands (≤0.80, ≤1.00, ≤1.20, ≤1.50, >1.50).
- Benchmark ratio: Ratio = Benchmark ÷ Contractor Rate for TRIR and DART (higher ratio earns more points).
- Program completeness: selected program elements scaled from 0–10 elements into 0–15 points.
- Training readiness: combines annual training hours plus workforce coverage targets.
- Leading indicators: audits per month and corrective-action closure time thresholds.
- Controls: insurance, COI, policy controls, and limit levels.
- Overall score: sum of category points. Decision bands: ≥85 Approved; 70–84 Conditional; 50–69 Restricted; <50 Declined.
