Formula used

This calculator estimates claim payment using limit caps and a deductible rule.
  • CoveredLossᵢ = min(Lossᵢ, Limitᵢ) for each coverage (dwelling, other structures, personal property).
  • TotalCoveredLoss = Σ CoveredLossᵢ.
  • Deductible = max(ComputedDeductible, MinimumDeductible).
  • InsurerPayment = max(0, TotalCoveredLoss − Deductible).
  • OutOfPocket = TotalLoss − InsurerPayment (includes deductible and losses above limits).
