Calculator
Formula used
This calculator estimates claim payment using limit caps and a deductible rule.
- CoveredLossᵢ = min(Lossᵢ, Limitᵢ) for each coverage (dwelling, other structures, personal property).
- TotalCoveredLoss = Σ CoveredLossᵢ.
- Deductible = max(ComputedDeductible, MinimumDeductible).
- InsurerPayment = max(0, TotalCoveredLoss − Deductible).
- OutOfPocket = TotalLoss − InsurerPayment (includes deductible and losses above limits).
