Formula Used

New price per kWh = Current price × (1 + Increase% ÷ 100)

Usage after reduction = Monthly usage × (1 − Reduction% ÷ 100)

Monthly cost = Fixed charges + (Price per kWh × Monthly usage)

Monthly savings from reduction = Future cost (no change) − Future cost (with reduction)

Break-even (months) = Upgrade cost ÷ Monthly savings (when savings > 0)
