Formula used
The estimator starts with a reference annual rate per 1,000 coverage and scales it using factors: AgeFactor × HealthFactor × SmokerFactor × GenderFactor × PolicyFactor.
- Base annual premium: (Coverage ÷ 1,000) × RatePer1k + RiderCosts + AnnualFee
- Payment-mode load: AnnualPremium × PayFactor (monthly/quarterly loads applied)
- Taxes/fees: LoadedPremium × (1 + TaxRate)
- Future premium (year y): Premium₁ × (1 + Inflation)^(y − 1)
- Present value (year y): Premiumᵧ ÷ (1 + Discount)^(y − 1)
