Formula Used

1. Activity Duration: Duration = End Time − Start Time, measured in minutes.

2. Calories Burned: Calories = MET × Body Weight (kg) × Duration (hours).

3. Activity Load: Load = Duration × Intensity Factor × MET.

4. Goal Achievement: Goal Achievement = (Total Active Minutes ÷ Goal Minutes) × 100.

5. Balance Score: Balance Score blends activity goal progress, calorie goal progress, and sleep support into a 100-point planning score.

Intensity factors used here are Light = 1.0, Moderate = 1.35, Vigorous = 1.7, and Very Vigorous = 2.0.

FAQs

1. What does this planner calculate?

It estimates activity duration, calories, training load, goal completion, and a daily balance score. It helps organize fitness tasks into a realistic daily structure.

2. What is a MET value?

MET stands for metabolic equivalent. It describes how much energy an activity uses compared with resting. Higher MET values usually mean greater effort and calorie demand.

3. Why does sleep affect the result?

Sleep influences recovery. The calculator uses sleep hours to adjust training load, helping you see whether a demanding plan may need extra recovery support.

4. Can I use fewer than six activities?

Yes. You can complete only the rows you need. Empty rows are ignored as long as you do not partially fill them.

5. Is the calorie estimate exact?

No. It is an estimate based on body weight, duration, and MET values. Actual energy use varies with pace, fitness level, terrain, and exercise technique.

6. What is the balance score?

The balance score combines active minutes, calorie progress, and sleep support into one planning metric. It is useful for comparing different daily schedules quickly.

7. Can I export my results?

Yes. After calculation, use the CSV button for spreadsheet-style records or the PDF button for a printable planner summary.

8. Who can use this planner?

Anyone organizing daily exercise can use it, including walkers, gym users, athletes, and coaches. It supports structured planning without requiring advanced software.
