Formula Used
  • Effective actual clearance = max(0, measured clearance − edge projection)
  • Required clearance = required setback + safety buffer
  • Margin = effective actual clearance − required clearance
  • Status: PASS if margin ≥ 0, otherwise FAIL
  • Adjustment needed = |margin| when FAIL, else 0
  • Max deck width = max(0, lot width − left required − right required)
  • Max deck length = max(0, lot depth − front required − rear required)
