Example Data Table
Sample plan for a 720 mm interior, 64 mm setbacks, and 32 mm spacing.
| Hole # | From bottom (mm) | From top (mm) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 96 | 624 | First hole after bottom clearance |
| 2 | 128 | 592 | Standard 32 mm step |
| 3 | 160 | 560 | Aligns with shelf increments |
| 4 | 192 | 528 | Good for mid-height shelf |
| 5 | 224 | 496 | Continue to top setback limit |
Formula Used
Usable drill span:
usable = inside_height − top_setback − bottom_setback
Hole positions (bottom reference):
position_i = bottom_setback + start_offset + (i − 1) × spacing
Top coordinate (for cross-checking):
from_top_i = inside_height − position_i
In 32-system mode, spacing is snapped to a 32 mm multiple, and a default start offset of 32 mm is applied.
