Planning Book Rewards
The Book of Knowledge is small, but choosing a skill still matters. Its value rises with the selected skill level, so a higher level gives more experience. The reward is not based on current experience. It is based on the chosen skill level at the moment you use the book. This calculator keeps that rule clear. It also helps compare several practical choices before you spend a rare random event reward.
Why the Calculator Helps
Many players use the book on slow, costly, or boring skills. Runecraft, Herblore, Prayer, Construction, Farming, and Slayer are common examples. The best option can change by account type. A main account may value time saved. An iron account may value supply pressure. A skiller may value safe experience in restricted areas. The tool lets you enter books, current experience, target level, and a custom target. It then shows gained experience, remaining experience, estimated level after reward, and value per book.
Using the Results
Start with the skill you are considering. Enter its current level, or let current experience estimate the level. Add the number of books you plan to spend. Keep the normal multiplier at fifteen unless your page needs testing. Choose a target level, such as 70, 85, or 99. You can also enter a custom target experience. The result area appears above the form after submission. Review the remaining gap before using the item in game.
Better Decisions
The calculator is most useful when comparing several skills side by side. Run one skill, export the record, and repeat for another skill. The example table gives quick reference values. The download buttons help store planning notes for guides, logs, or account builds. No calculator can decide personal preference. It can only show the numbers clearly. Use the book where the saved effort feels most valuable.
Export Workflow
CSV files work well for spreadsheets. PDF files work well for sharing a simple snapshot. Save one result for each planned skill. Add notes about cost, difficulty, and account rules beside each export. This makes later choices easier. It also prevents guessing after long sessions. Clear records are helpful when planning many random event rewards. They also help you explain choices to friends.
