Guidance & Order of Operations
- Run pump; add chemicals separately; brush after granular additions.
- Keep acid and chlorine at least 15–30 minutes apart and in different spots.
- Split large changes over multiple days (e.g., CYA ≤ 20 ppm/day; CH ≤ 100 ppm/day).
- Re-test after circulation (~30–60 minutes for pH/FC; next day for CYA/CH).
Safety Notes (PPE & Storage)
- Wear eye/skin protection; ventilate when handling acids or chlorine.
- Never mix dry chlorines with each other; keep cal-hypo away from trichlor/dichlor.
- Do not add acid via skimmer while tablets are present.
