  • Contributions to A+B: A / (A+B) × 100 and B / (A+B) × 100
FAQs

Percent change compares an initial value to a new value relative to the initial. Percent difference compares two values relative to their average; it’s symmetric.

Division by zero is undefined; the calculator shows “—”. Percent change uses |A| in the denominator, so if A is zero, the change is undefined for finite results.

Yes. Use the CSV download to import directly. You can also select text from the results cards and paste into your spreadsheet.

Contributions measure each value’s share of the total. Using A+B ensures both shares sum to 100%, making comparisons intuitive.

Results are shown to two decimal places by default. Internally, calculations use full floating-point precision before rounding for display and export.
