A precise converter for medical and laboratory sources. Choose activity or air‑kerma strength units easily. Download CSV or PDF, then verify calculations fast always.
Activity measures nuclear decays per unit time. The base unit is the becquerel: 1 Bq = 1 disintegration per second. Curie-based conversions use: 1 Ci = 3.7 × 1010 Bq. For minutes: 1 dpm = 1/60 Bq.
Air-kerma strength is commonly expressed in U, where 1 U = 1 μGy·m²/h. A frequently used equivalent form is: 1 U = 1 cGy·cm²/h. The converter uses a single base and scales via unit factors for μGy, mGy, Gy and m², cm².
| Quantity | Input | Converted To | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activity | 37 MBq | mCi | ≈ 1.000000 mCi |
| Activity | 2500 μCi | MBq | ≈ 92.500000 MBq |
| Air-kerma strength | 12 U | cGy·cm²/h | 12.000000 cGy·cm²/h |
| Air-kerma strength | 0.004 Gy·m²/h | U | ≈ 4000.000000 U |
