Formula Used

This calculator uses practical build estimation formulas. They are designed for planning. They are not exact internal game formulas. The level estimate adds all eight main stats. Then it subtracts a base class style value of 79.

Health is estimated as 400 plus vitality growth. Growth slows after 30 vitality. Stamina starts from 80 and rises with endurance. It is capped at 160. Equipment load equals 40 plus endurance growth and bonus load.

Load percentage equals total weight divided by maximum load. The result is multiplied by 100. Roll type is based on common load bands. Fast roll stays at 25 percent or below. Medium roll stays at 50 percent or below.

Attack rating combines base weapon damage and scaled stat bonuses. Strength and dexterity give physical scaling. Intelligence and faith add magic support. Estimated damage reduces attack rating by a defense factor.

Survival index combines health, stamina, and resistance score. Overall build score combines attack, survival, and load pressure. Heavy load lowers the final score.

How to Use This Calculator

Enter your character stats first. Add vitality, endurance, strength, dexterity, and other values. Then enter weapon damage and equipment weight. Use actual values from your build screen.

Add any ring or item bonus under equip load bonus. Enter enemy defense if you want a tougher damage estimate. Press the calculate button. The result appears below the header and above the form.

Review attack rating, estimated damage, load percentage, and roll category. Adjust stats until the build feels balanced. Use CSV export for spreadsheet records. Use PDF export for saving a simple report.

Dark Souls Build Statistics Guide

Why Stats Matter

Dark Souls builds are shaped by careful stat planning. Every point matters. A small change can affect damage, health, stamina, or movement. This calculator gives a quick statistical view of your character. It helps compare builds before spending souls.

Balancing Survival and Damage

Vitality improves health. Endurance supports stamina and equipment load. Strength and dexterity improve many weapon builds. Intelligence and faith support spell damage. Resistance adds defensive value inside this planning model. A strong build does not need every stat. It needs the right stats for its purpose.

Understanding Load

Equipment load is very important. Light characters move with better speed. Heavy characters may absorb more pressure. But slow rolls can be dangerous. The calculator checks total equipment weight against load capacity. It then assigns a roll category. This helps you avoid overloaded builds.

Using Attack Rating

Attack rating is an estimate of offensive strength. It starts with base weapon damage. Then it adds scaling from key stats. Strength and dexterity are weighted highly. Intelligence and faith can also support hybrid builds. The estimated damage value subtracts enemy defense. This makes the result more useful for planning.

Reading the Build Score

The build score combines offense, survival, and weight control. A higher score suggests better overall efficiency. It should not replace actual gameplay testing. Some weapons have special movesets. Some builds depend on timing, range, and stamina use. Use the score as a guide. Then test the character in real combat.

Planning Better Characters

Use the example table to compare common build styles. Change one stat at a time. Watch how the numbers respond. This method shows soft caps and wasted points. It also reveals when equipment becomes too heavy. Good planning saves souls and avoids weak upgrades. Keep your goal clear. Build around your weapon, armor, and play style.

FAQs

What does this Dark Souls stats calculator do?

It estimates level, health, stamina, load percentage, roll type, attack rating, damage, resistance, survival index, and overall build score.

Are these exact game formulas?

No. These are planning formulas. They are built to compare builds quickly and clearly, not to copy hidden game calculations exactly.

What is attack rating?

Attack rating is an estimated offensive value. It combines weapon damage with bonuses from strength, dexterity, intelligence, and faith.

Why does equipment load matter?

Equipment load affects movement quality. Lower load supports faster rolling. Heavy load can make dodging slower and riskier.

What is the survival index?

The survival index combines health, stamina, and resistance. It gives a simple defensive planning score for comparing builds.

How should I use enemy defense?

Enter a higher defense value for tougher enemies. The calculator reduces estimated damage based on that value.

Can I export my results?

Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet data. Use the PDF button to print or save the result summary.

What build score is good?

A higher score usually means better balance. Still, weapons, timing, range, and personal play style also matter.
