Formula used
- Item scoring: Each item is rated 1–5.
- Reverse scoring: Protective items use Adjusted = 6 − Response.
- Adjusted total: Total = Σ Adjusted across 12 items (range 12–60).
- Fatigue Index (%): Index = (Total − 12) / (60 − 12) × 100.
- Context modifier (optional): Adds small points for low sleep, heavy study load, short breaks, and many deadlines (capped to keep results in-range).
- Categories: Low (<40%), Moderate (40–69.9%), High (≥70%).
If you leave context fields blank, only the scale score is used.
