Calculator

All calculations are standardized internally.
Used for volume and material estimation.
Total thickness from slab to finished surface.
Preset suggests a typical finish thickness.
Override the preset if your product differs.
Average bed thickness after setting.
Acoustic mat, board, or insulation layer.
Waterproofing or separation layer allowance.
Adds allowance for mixing and placement losses.
Used for mass estimation from volume.
Typical for leveling compounds; check datasheets.
Used to estimate the number of bags.
Leave zero to hide the cost output.
Tip: Choose a finish, then adjust layer thicknesses to match your specification.

Formula used

1) Known layer thickness
Known = Finish + Adhesive + Underlayment + Membrane
Add any fixed layers you already know from the specification.
2) Required screed / leveling thickness
Required = Target build-up − Known
If this is negative, the build-up is over the target.
3) Screed volume (with wastage)
Volume = Area × (Required/1000) × (1 + Wastage/100)
Thickness converts from mm to meters by dividing by 1000.
4) Compound mass and bags
Mass = Area × Required × Consumption × (1 + Wastage/100)
Bags = ceil(Mass ÷ Bag weight)
Consumption is a datasheet value in kg/mm/m².
