Formula Used

Missing Material = Required Material - Owned Material. If the value is below zero, the calculator shows zero.

Total Requirement = Sum of every selected upgrade tier × Number of Builds.

Estimated Resin = Material Points ÷ Average Drops per Run × Resin per Run.

Character book and weapon ore estimates use level bands. Each partial band is prorated between current and target level.

About This Genshin Materials Calculator

This Genshin Impact materials calculator helps you plan upgrades before spending fragile resin, Mora, books, ores, or boss drops. It is made for players who like clear farming routes. It also helps builders compare inventory with future goals. You can estimate character ascension, talent growth, weapon leveling, and resin pressure from one page.

Why Careful Planning Matters

Materials often look enough until the final stages. Higher levels need larger stacks. Talent levels ask for books, weekly drops, crowns, and Mora. Weapons need ores, enhancement materials, and ascension items. A planned list prevents wasted domain days. It also shows which shortage blocks progress first. That makes farming simpler, especially during events or limited banners. Strong planning also helps friends share routes, save condensed resin, and prepare teams without guessing across material screens before each update.

How The Calculator Thinks

The tool uses tiered upgrade tables. Each range has a cost. The script adds every tier between your current point and target point. Then it subtracts your current stock. The result shows required totals, missing totals, and estimated resin value. You can adjust resin cost and average drop yield. This makes the result flexible for different world levels, bonuses, and farming luck.

Character And Talent Planning

For characters, choose the current and target phase. Add the number of units. Enter your stored local specialties, gem fragments, boss items, common drops, experience books, and Mora. For talents, choose current and target talent levels. The calculator includes book tiers, boss drops, crown needs, and Mora. It is useful when preparing one carry or several supports.

Weapon Material Planning

Weapon upgrades can drain ores quickly. This calculator estimates enhancement ore demand, Mora, domain materials, elite drops, and common drops. Use the quantity field for several weapons. You can enter stock values before calculating. The shortage view will show what still needs farming.

Using Results Wisely

Treat resin estimates as planning guidance, not a guaranteed promise. Actual drops vary. Events, battle pass rewards, teapot resin, crafting, and conversion can lower the grind. Download the CSV when you want a spreadsheet record. Use the PDF button when you need a printable checklist. Recalculate after every farming session to keep your plan current.

FAQs

1. What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates Genshin Impact character, talent, and weapon material needs. It also compares those needs with your owned inventory and shows missing totals.

2. Can I calculate more than one character?

Yes. Use the Number of Builds field. The calculator multiplies the selected material requirements by that value.

3. Are resin values exact?

No. Resin estimates are planning guides. Real drops depend on domain rewards, world level, events, bonuses, and farming luck.

4. What are gem conversion points?

Gem points combine gemstone tiers into one planning value. They help compare total gem pressure without listing every gem tier separately.

5. Can I plan three talents together?

Yes. Choose Talent Upgrade mode and set Talent Count to three. The result multiplies books, Mora, drops, and crowns.

6. Why enter average drops per run?

This setting makes resin estimates flexible. Use your expected average reward from domains, bosses, or farming runs.

7. Does the CSV include every result row?

Yes. The CSV download includes material name, required amount, owned amount, and missing amount for the current calculation.

8. Can I print the result?

Yes. Click Download PDF after calculating. It creates a simple checklist that you can save, share, or print.
