Formula Used
The calculator uses a direct missing-material model. It does not force live market prices. You can enter your own values.
buffered required = ceiling(required × (1 + buffer percentage ÷ 100))
missing quantity = max(0, buffered required - owned quantity)
row cost = missing quantity × unit gold value
total cost = sum of all row costs
The buffer is applied only to stackable tradable rows. Account-bound rows can stay at zero, unless you enable proxy values.

Use Live Values Carefully
Prices change often in Tyria. For that reason, every price field is editable. You can use buy order prices, instant buy prices, or your own farming value. Account-bound rewards can stay at zero. They can also receive proxy values when you want to compare time against gold. The buffer field adds a small safety margin to stackable tradable materials. This is helpful when rounding, listing fees, or last minute recipe checks matter.

The calculator also separates construction phases. Gift of Metal covers ingots. Gift of History covers the dungeon gift, leather, dust, and lodestones.
