This calculator estimates count from effective area, effective coverage, and multipliers.
  • Effective Area = Area × (1 + Complexity%) × (1 + Obstructions%) × Zone Factor
  • Zone Factor = 1 + 0.03 × (Zones − 1)
  • Height Factor = max(0.80, 1 − 0.06 × |Mount − Target|)
  • Effective Coverage = Coverage × (1 − Overlap%) × Height Factor
  • Base Traps = ceil(Effective Area / Effective Coverage)
  • Final Traps = ceil(Base Traps × Risk × Placement × (1 + Redundancy%))
  • Energy (kWh/day) = Traps × Watts × Hours / 1000
