Formula used
Deck area: length × width.
Board module: board width + board gap.
Board rows: deck cross width in inches ÷ board module.
Deck boards: total decking linear feet × waste ÷ board length.
Joists: board run in inches ÷ joist spacing + 1.
Joist boards: joist linear feet + rim linear feet, then apply waste.
Beams: beam rows × beam ply × deck run length.
Posts: beam rows × posts per beam row.
Concrete bags: posts × bags per post.
Fastener boxes: surface area × fasteners per square foot ÷ fasteners per box.
