Formula Used
  • Rectangle area: A = L × W
  • Circle area: A = π × r², where r = D ÷ 2
  • Triangle area: A = 0.5 × Base × Height
  • Buffered boundary: Abuffered computed by expanding boundary dimensions by 2×buffer.
  • Equipment use-zone: Aeq = (L + 2c) × (W + 2c), summed across items.
  • Suggested minimum: Amin = max(Abuffered, Aeq)
  • Planned area: Aplan = Amin × (1 + Paths%)
  • Surfacing allowance: Asurf = Aplan × (1 + Overage%)
  • Volume (optional): V = Asurf × depth (converted to m or ft)
