Formula used
The calculator sums volumes of rectangular slabs, each computed as:
Volume (m³) = Length × Width × Thickness after converting all dimensions into meters.
For multiple segments: Total = Σ( Li × Wi × Ti ). Overage is applied as: Total × (1 + waste%/100).
Unit conversions used: 1 m = 100 cm = 1000 mm = 3.28084 ft = 39.3701 in. Also, 1 m³ = 35.3147 ft³ = 1.30795 yd³ = 1000 liters.
How to use
- Click Add segment to insert a slab row.
- Enter Length, Width, and Thickness, choosing appropriate units for each.
- Add more segments to represent separate slabs or areas.
- Set a waste percentage to cover loss and spillage.
- Press Calculate volume to see results.
- Use Export CSV or Export PDF for records.
- Try Load example data to see a sample workflow.
