Example Data Table
These sample values demonstrate typical inputs and results. Replace with your measured quantities and local unit rates.
| Workers | Duration (days) | Baseline water (L/worker/day) | Improved water (L/worker/day) | Estimated water saved (m3) | Net savings |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 45 | 60 | 12 | 8 | ~12.34 | ~(varies by fees) |
| 80 | 120 | 15 | 9 | ~82.29 | ~(varies by service level) |
| 25 | 30 | 10 | 7 | ~3.21 | ~(often positive with low capex) |
Tip: If your duration already represents workdays, uncheck the workday adjustment toggle.
Formula Used
Core quantities
- Effective workdays = Duration × (Workdays per week ÷ 7)
- Water (m3) = Workers × Days × (Liters per worker per day ÷ 1000)
- Waste (ton) = Workers × Days × (kg per worker per day ÷ 1000)
- Waste diverted (ton) = Improved waste × Diversion rate
Cost and impact
- Total cost = Water cost + Waste cost + Service cost
- Net savings = Baseline total cost − Improved total cost
- Emissions = Water m3 × EF + Waste ton × EF
- Expected incidents = (Labor-hours ÷ 10,000) × Incident rate
Adjust emission factors and incident rates to align with local utilities, haulers, and safety reporting.
