Formula used

The calculator first changes the selected unit into grams. It then applies quantity, adjustment, and tare.

Net grams = [(Input mass × grams-per-unit × quantity) × (1 + adjustment ÷ 100)] − (tare per machine × quantity)

For example, 2.5 kilograms equals 2,500 grams. A 3% adjustment makes that 2,575 grams. Tare is then removed from every machine.
