The calculator estimates quarter mile performance using vehicle power, weight, speed, aerodynamic resistance, and traction adjustments.

Basic formula: Quarter Mile Time = Base Performance Time × Speed Factor × Drag Factor × Traction Factor

Base Performance Time is estimated using: 5.825 × (Vehicle Weight ÷ Horsepower)^(1/3)
