  • Lead to Customer Conversion = Closed Won ÷ Total Leads × 100
  • Opportunity Win Rate = Closed Won ÷ Opportunities × 100
  • Proposal Close Rate = Closed Won ÷ Proposals × 100

  • Leakage Count = Current Stage − Next Stage
  • Cost per Lead = Funnel Cost ÷ Total Leads
  • Customer Acquisition Cost = Funnel Cost ÷ Closed Won
  • Revenue per Lead = Won Revenue ÷ Total Leads
  • ROI = (Won Revenue − Funnel Cost) ÷ Funnel Cost × 100
  • Pipeline Velocity = Opportunities × Deal Size × Win Rate ÷ Sales Cycle Days

FAQs

1. What does this calculator measure?

It measures stage conversion, leakage, win rate, average deal size, customer acquisition cost, ROI, revenue efficiency, forecast revenue, and productivity indicators across your sales funnel.

2. Why should stage counts decrease through the funnel?

A normal funnel narrows as contacts qualify out. If a later stage is larger than an earlier one, your entered data may mix sources, periods, or duplicated records.

3. What is leakage in a lead funnel?

Leakage is the number of records lost between two stages. High leakage points to weak targeting, qualification gaps, slow follow-up, or pricing and proposal issues.

4. How is pipeline velocity useful?

Pipeline velocity estimates how much revenue moves through the funnel each day. It combines opportunity count, average deal size, win rate, and sales cycle speed.

5. What does target coverage show?

Target coverage compares your forecast revenue with the revenue goal entered. It helps you see whether the current lead volume can realistically support the target.

6. Can I use monthly, quarterly, or yearly numbers?

Yes. Keep all entered values aligned to the same period. If leads are monthly, revenue, cost, and stage counts should also come from that same month.

7. Which metric should I improve first?

Start where leakage is highest and conversion is weakest. Improving one broken stage often raises win rate, lowers CAC, and increases velocity faster than broad changes.

8. Why can ROI look strong while conversion stays low?

Large deal sizes can raise revenue even with a narrow funnel. That still may hide risk, because weak conversions reduce predictability and future target coverage.
