Assessment Percentage = (Score Earned ÷ Maximum Marks) × 100
Weighted Contribution = Assessment Percentage × (Weight ÷ 100)
Current Coursework Average = Sum of included (Assessment Percentage × Weight) ÷ Sum of included Weights
Projected Overall Grade = [Sum of included (Assessment Percentage × Weight) + (Final Percentage × Final Weight)] ÷ 100 + Extra Credit
Required Final Percentage = {[(Target Grade − Extra Credit) × 100] − Sum of coursework weighted percentages} ÷ Final Weight
If drop-lowest is enabled, the coursework item with the smallest percentage is removed before summing the weighted results.
Yes. Each assessment accepts its own weight. The calculator multiplies each percentage by its weight and combines them into a weighted overall result.

It removes the coursework item with the smallest percentage from the weighted coursework calculation. This does not automatically remove the final exam.
The calculator includes a standard A–F scale and a plus/minus scale. Both options also return estimated GPA points for quick academic interpretation.
