School Days = Total Calendar Days − Weekend Days − Institutional Holidays
Attendance Equivalent Days = Full Present Days + Duty Leave Days + (Half Days × 0.5)
Gross Attendance % = (Attendance Equivalent Days ÷ School Days) × 100
Adjusted Days = School Days − Approved Leave Days − Medical Leave Days
Adjusted Attendance % = (Attendance Equivalent Days ÷ Adjusted Days) × 100
Punctuality Rate % = (On-Time Attendance Events ÷ Attendance Events) × 100
Unexcused Loss Days = Unapproved Absence Days + (Half Days × 0.5) + Unclassified Days
School days are the monthly calendar days after removing weekends and institutional holidays. They represent the days when attendance could be officially recorded.
Each half day contributes 0.5 toward attendance equivalent days. This gives a balanced monthly percentage instead of counting the student fully present.
Gross attendance uses all school days. Adjusted attendance removes approved and medical leave, helping institutions compare commitment without penalizing legitimate absences.
Duty leave covers approved academic activities such as competitions, official trips, or school events. In this calculator, those days count as attendance equivalent days.
Unclassified days reveal missing record entries. They help teachers audit monthly registers and prevent inflated attendance percentages caused by incomplete data.
Yes. It works for schools, colleges, tutoring programs, and training centers, as long as your monthly attendance is tracked in day-based categories.
Punctuality rate compares on-time attendance events against total attendance events. It highlights regular lateness or early departures during the month.
Use exports after calculating a result. CSV works well for spreadsheets, while PDF is helpful for sharing monthly summaries with staff or parents.
