CM = (2 × K × I × D) / V_drop for single-phase systems, and CM = (√3 × K × I × D) / V_drop for three-phase systems, where K represents the specific conductor resistivity constant, I is the current, D is the one-way distance, and V_drop is the allowable voltage drop value.
