Formula Used

Ohm law connects voltage, current, and resistance. The main equations are V = I × R, I = V ÷ R, and R = V ÷ I.

Power is found with P = V × I, P = I² × R, or P = V² ÷ R. Conductance is G = 1 ÷ R. Energy is Wh = W × hours × duty cycle.

For series resistors, total resistance is the sum of all resistors. For parallel resistors, the reciprocal total is the sum of each reciprocal.
