Let tnow be the current local time and ttarget be the chosen date and time. We compute the signed difference in seconds: Δt = (ttarget − tnow) in seconds.

  • days = floor(|Δt| / 86400)
  • hours = floor((|Δt| % 86400) / 3600)
  • minutes = floor((|Δt| % 3600) / 60)
  • seconds = |Δt| % 60

The sign of Δt indicates whether the target is in the future or past. This page updates continuously to reflect live changes.
