Formula used

1) Effective sun hours

EffectiveSun = SunHours × (1 − ShadeFraction × ShadeIntensity)

ShadeFraction = shaded area % ÷ 100. ShadeIntensity = light reduction % ÷ 100.

2) Light adequacy ratio

Ratio = clamp(EffectiveSun ÷ TargetSun, 0, 1.25)

Values above 1 mean you meet or exceed the target.

3) Tolerance adjustment

AdjRatio = Ratio + Tolerance × (1 − Ratio) × 0.50

Higher tolerance reduces the shade penalty.

4) Practical multipliers

IrrigationMult = clamp(0.60 + 0.40×AdjRatio, 0.60, 1.05) × DrainageFactor
FertMult = clamp(0.70 + 0.30×AdjRatio, 0.70, 1.02)
SpacingMult = clamp(1.00 + 0.25×(1−AdjRatio), 1.00, 1.30) × DiseaseFactor

These are bounded to avoid extreme recommendations.
