Formula used

  • Rectangular box: V = L × W × H
  • Cylinder: V = π × (D/2)² × H
  • Sphere: V = (4/3) × π × (D/2)³
  • Truncated cone: V = (π × H / 3) × (R² + Rr + r²), where R and r are radii
  • Custom: V = A × H
Effective volume = Raw volume × (1 − headspace) × fill level × packing factor.
