Calculator

Example Data Table

DPI Sensitivity ADS eDPI cm Per 360 Suggested Use
400 2.20 1.00 880 46.75 Controlled tracking
800 1.50 1.00 1200 34.64 Balanced play
1600 0.90 0.85 1440 28.86 Fast reactions

Formula Used

eDPI = Mouse DPI × Apex sensitivity.

cm per 360 = 360 × 2.54 ÷ DPI ÷ sensitivity ÷ yaw.

inches per 360 = cm per 360 ÷ 2.54.

ADS effective sensitivity = hipfire sensitivity × ADS multiplier × zoom scalar.

Converted sensitivity = source DPI × source sensitivity × source yaw ÷ target DPI ÷ Apex yaw.

Target sensitivity = 360 × 2.54 ÷ target DPI ÷ Apex yaw ÷ target cm per 360.

How to Use This Calculator

Enter your mouse DPI and current Apex sensitivity. Add your ADS multiplier if you want scoped values. Keep the Apex yaw value at 0.022 unless you use a custom value. Enter target DPI or target cm per 360 to build a new setting. Press the calculate button. Review eDPI, cm per 360, ADS speed, and converted sensitivity. Use the CSV or PDF button to save your result.

Apex Legends Sensitivity Guide

Why Sensitivity Matters

Mouse sensitivity affects every fight in Apex Legends. It controls turns, tracking, flicks, recoil control, and target correction. A small change can feel large during close fights. A good setting should feel stable during sprays. It should also allow fast armor swaps, door plays, and movement turns.

Understanding eDPI

eDPI joins mouse DPI and game sensitivity into one value. It is useful for quick comparison. Still, eDPI does not show physical movement. Two players may share eDPI, yet feel different because of grip, mousepad size, posture, and monitor setup.

Using cm Per 360

cm per 360 is more practical. It tells how far your mouse moves for one full turn. Low numbers mean faster aim. High numbers mean slower aim. Many Apex players prefer a middle range because the game needs tracking and fast movement together.

Hipfire and ADS Balance

Hipfire sensitivity controls normal camera movement. ADS sensitivity affects aiming through sights. A lower ADS value can help tracking at range. A higher value can help shotgun fights and quick corrections. This calculator shows both results, so you can compare them clearly.

Changing DPI Safely

Changing DPI without converting sensitivity can ruin muscle memory. Use the target DPI field when switching mouse settings. The calculator keeps your same turn distance. That helps your hand movement stay consistent while your device setting changes.

Converting From Another Game

The source game fields estimate a matching Apex sensitivity. Enter source DPI, source sensitivity, and source yaw. The result preserves rotation distance. It is a strong starting point, but final tuning should happen inside firing range and real matches.

Practice Method

Test one value for several sessions. Do not change settings after every bad match. Track close range accuracy, wingman shots, recoil beams, and smooth target following. Save each result with the export buttons. Compare notes later. A stable setup improves practice quality.

FAQs

What is a good Apex Legends sensitivity?

A good sensitivity lets you track smoothly and turn fast enough. Many players use a balanced cm per 360 range. Your mousepad size, grip, and aim style matter more than copying another player.

What does eDPI mean?

eDPI means effective DPI. It equals mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. It helps compare settings, but cm per 360 gives a better real movement measure.

Does FOV change cm per 360?

FOV does not change physical turn distance. Your cm per 360 remains based on DPI, sensitivity, and yaw. FOV changes how fast movement appears on screen.

Should ADS sensitivity match hipfire?

Not always. Matching can feel consistent, but lower ADS can improve ranged tracking. Higher ADS can help close fights. Test both in firing range before ranked play.

What is Apex yaw?

Yaw is the game rotation value used in sensitivity math. Apex commonly uses 0.022. Keep that value unless you know your setup uses another value.

How do I keep sensitivity after changing DPI?

Enter your old DPI and sensitivity. Then enter the new target DPI. The calculator gives a matching sensitivity that keeps your same cm per 360.

Is lower sensitivity better for aiming?

Lower sensitivity can improve precision and recoil control. It may slow turns and movement checks. The best value balances control, comfort, and reaction speed.

Why export CSV or PDF results?

Exports help you track tests over time. Save values after practice sessions. Then compare aim comfort, accuracy, and match performance before making another change.
