Calculator Inputs
Enter appliance power data, expected use, standby consumption, and electricity pricing. Results appear above this form after submission.
Formula Used
Effective Running Watts = Running Watts × (Average Load % ÷ 100)
Daily Running kWh = Effective Running Watts × Hours per Day × Quantity ÷ 1000
Daily Standby kWh = Standby Watts × Standby Hours × Quantity ÷ 1000
Monthly kWh = (Daily Running kWh + Daily Standby kWh) × Days per Month
Monthly Base Cost = Monthly kWh × Electricity Rate
Monthly Total Cost = Monthly Base Cost + (Monthly Base Cost × Tax % ÷ 100)
Annual Total Cost = Monthly Total Cost × 12
This approach helps estimate both visible operating energy and hidden standby consumption.
