Advanced Arena Point Planning Guide
Why Arena Planning Matters
A TBC arena week can feel simple, yet the final reward often surprises players. Rating, bracket, games played, and personal participation all change the usable total. This calculator brings those parts into one place. It helps a player estimate weekly points before reset. It also helps a team compare brackets before choosing where to push rating.
Ratings and Brackets
Arena rewards use a rating curve. Lower ratings rise in a steady line. Higher ratings use a curved formula that grows quickly, then slows near the top. The bracket multiplier then changes the final value. A five player team uses the full value. A three player team receives a smaller share. A two player team receives the smallest share. This reflects the classic bracket weighting used by many TBC planning sheets.
Eligibility Checks
Points are useful only when the character qualifies. The calculator checks weekly team games against the minimum required games. It also checks personal participation against the required share. If either rule fails, the displayed eligible points become zero. The base estimate still appears, so the user can see what was missed. This is helpful when one teammate needs more games before reset.
Advanced Planning Benefits
The extra fields make the tool useful for more than one quick estimate. You can change the required game count. You can adjust the participation rule. You can add a note for the team, the week, or the item goal. The summary shows base points, bracket adjusted points, eligibility status, missing games, and missing participation. These values make review easier after several calculations.
Exports and Records
CSV export is useful for spreadsheets. PDF export is useful for sharing a clean report. Both downloads use the same form values, so the saved file matches the visible calculation. The example table gives common ratings for comparison. It also shows how bracket choice affects rewards. Use this calculator as an estimate, not an official source. Server rules, season settings, or private realm settings can differ. Always confirm important purchases in game before spending points. Good records also support better roster decisions during busy seasons. A clear estimate still saves time. It reduces guesswork. It also helps groups plan efficient weekly sessions together.
