Formula Used

The standard elevation method first estimates air pressure from elevation.

P = P0 × (1 − Lh / T0)5.255877

Here, P is local pressure. P0 is sea level pressure. L is 0.0065 K/m. h is elevation in meters. T0 is 288.15 K.

The boiling point is then estimated with the Antoine equation.

T = B / (A − log10(PmmHg)) − C

For water, this page uses A = 8.07131, B = 1730.63, and C = 233.426. Pressure is converted to mmHg before solving.
