Formula Used

Net carbohydrates = total carbohydrates - fiber - half of sugar alcohols.

Carb servings = net carbohydrates ÷ 15.

Carb insulin = net carbohydrates ÷ insulin to carbohydrate ratio.

Correction insulin = (current glucose - target glucose) ÷ correction factor. Negative correction is treated as zero.

Adjusted estimate = carb insulin + correction insulin - activity reduction + stress addition - insulin on board.

Rounded estimate = adjusted estimate rounded to the selected insulin increment.
