Formula Used

The calculator estimates one rep max with two common strength formulas. Epley uses weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30). Brzycki uses weight × 36 ÷ (37 - reps). For multiple reps, the average of both methods is used.

The projected clean and jerk max is limited by the lower value between clean ability, jerk ability, and the estimated one rep max. The readiness adjusted max is: projected max × readiness percent.

Strength ratios compare the projected clean and jerk with body weight, front squat, back squat, and snatch. Attempt numbers use readiness adjusted strength and the selected plate increment. Training loads estimate 70%, 80%, and 90% work zones.
