Gross wall area = Total wall length × Wall height

Opening area = Opening count × Average opening width × Average opening height

Net framed area = Gross wall area − Opening area

Base studs = Ceiling((Wall length × 12) ÷ Stud spacing) + 1

Plate cost = Wall length × Plate courses × Plate cost per ft
