CS GO DPI Calculator

Calculate DPI, eDPI, scoped sensitivity, and 360 distance. Build cleaner aim settings. Match muscle memory across every mouse setup.

Advanced DPI Calculator

Enter your mouse and game values. Then calculate or download the result.

Formula Used

The main aim value is effective DPI. It combines mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity.

eDPI = Mouse DPI × Game Sensitivity

Scoped eDPI = eDPI × Zoom Sensitivity Ratio

Converted Sensitivity = Old DPI × Old Sensitivity ÷ New DPI

Target Sensitivity = Target eDPI ÷ Mouse DPI

cm / 360 = 2.54 × 360 ÷ (DPI × Sensitivity × Yaw)

Polling Delay = 1000 ÷ Polling Rate

The default yaw value is 0.022. This is commonly used for Source engine sensitivity math. You can change it if your configuration uses another value.

Example Data Table

Mouse DPI Game Sensitivity eDPI Use Case
400 2.00 800 Low control style
800 1.50 1200 Balanced rifle aim
1600 1.00 1600 Fast turn speed
1200 0.85 1020 Moderate tracking setup

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Enter your mouse DPI from your mouse software.
  2. Enter your current CS GO sensitivity value.
  3. Add your zoom sensitivity ratio for scoped weapons.
  4. Use the target eDPI field to find a new sensitivity.
  5. Use old and new DPI fields to convert settings.
  6. Press the calculate button to view results above the form.
  7. Download the result as CSV or PDF when needed.

CS GO DPI and Sensitivity Guide

What DPI Means

DPI means dots per inch. It describes mouse sensor movement. A higher value moves the cursor farther. A lower value moves it less. In CS GO, DPI alone does not define aim speed. Sensitivity also matters. The calculator combines both values into eDPI.

Why eDPI Matters

Effective DPI gives a fair comparison between players. One player may use 400 DPI and 2 sensitivity. Another may use 800 DPI and 1 sensitivity. Both setups produce 800 eDPI. Their aim speed is similar. This makes eDPI better than DPI alone.

Finding a Better Setup

A low eDPI can support careful crosshair control. It can help with rifles and long angles. A high eDPI can help quick turns. It may suit entry players or small mouse pads. Many players choose a balanced range. The best value still depends on comfort.

Using cm per 360

The cm per 360 value shows physical mouse travel. It estimates how far your hand moves for one full turn. This is useful when comparing settings across devices. It also helps when changing DPI. Keeping the same cm per 360 preserves muscle memory.

Scoped Sensitivity

Scoped eDPI estimates aim speed while using zoom. This matters for AWP, Scout, and scoped rifles. A lower scoped ratio can improve small corrections. A higher ratio can feel faster and more reactive. Test both styles in practice maps.

Practical Aim Tips

Keep Windows pointer speed stable. Avoid frequent sensitivity changes. Track your results after each adjustment. Use deathmatch to test raw movement. Use aim maps to test precision. Choose the setting that feels repeatable. Consistency is more important than copying another player.

FAQs

1. What is a CS GO DPI calculator?

It calculates mouse DPI, eDPI, sensitivity conversion, scoped eDPI, and estimated 360 distance for CS GO aiming setups.

2. What is eDPI?

eDPI means effective DPI. It equals mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. It helps compare different player settings fairly.

3. Is lower eDPI always better?

No. Lower eDPI can improve control, but it needs more arm movement. The best setting depends on comfort and mouse pad space.

4. How do I keep the same sensitivity after changing DPI?

Use the conversion formula. Multiply old DPI by old sensitivity. Then divide the answer by your new DPI.

5. What does cm per 360 mean?

It means the mouse distance needed for one complete 360 degree turn. It helps compare physical aim movement.

6. What is scoped eDPI?

Scoped eDPI estimates your effective aim speed while zoomed. It uses eDPI multiplied by your zoom sensitivity ratio.

7. Should Windows pointer speed affect my setup?

Many players keep it at 6 for consistency. Changing pointer speed may affect desktop movement and some game behavior.

8. Can I download my result?

Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet data. Use the PDF button for a simple saved report.
