Formula Used
This calculator uses a planning model. It does not reveal hidden game code. It converts every stat into a tier by dividing the effective stat by ten. Values above tier ten are treated as unused points.
Effective stat = base stat + fragment bonus + masterwork bonus + artifice bonus.
Ability cooldown = base cooldown × stat tier reduction − kickstart value − armor charge value − utility value − action rate value.
Damage multiplier = surge multiplier × subclass damage multiplier × weapon perk multiplier.
Readiness score = stat score, ability score, survival score, damage score, energy score, and power fit score combined with activity weights.

Why Stat Tiers Matter
Destiny stat points work best when they reach the next ten point break. A 79 total acts like tier seven. An 80 total acts like tier eight. This is why the calculator shows wasted points above each tier. Those points may be moved to another stat through armor, fragments, or artifice choices.
Ability Loop Planning
Grenades, melee abilities, and class abilities often define a build. The tool starts with a base cooldown. It reduces that value by the matching stat tier. It also applies kickstart mods, utility mods, armor charge, and action rate. The result is not a hidden game value. It is a planning estimate that helps compare two loadouts quickly.
Damage and Survival View
A build must defeat enemies and stay alive. Surge mods, matching weapons, and damage perks raise the damage multiplier. Resilience, recovery, and defensive subclass effects raise the survival score. Endgame activities usually reward safer choices. Crucible builds may need faster recovery, movement, and class ability uptime.
Energy Budget Checks
Every armor build needs a clean mod budget. The calculator totals selected mod costs against five armor pieces. It warns when the setup spends too much energy. It also points out unused space. This makes it easier to improve a loadout before changing gear in the game.
How to Read Results
Use the final grade as a quick summary. Then read the recommendations. A lower grade does not always mean a bad build. It may mean the setup is specialized. For example, a melee build can ignore discipline. A weapon damage build can accept slower ability loops. Compare several versions and choose the one that matches your activity. Keep notes for each saved version. Small changes can matter after a new weapon, exotic, or fragment swap. Recheck the energy budget after every change. This keeps the plan readable, repeatable, and easier to share with fireteam members before launch.

Why are some stat points marked unused?
Stat tiers change every ten points. A stat value of 79 still works as tier seven. The extra nine points do not create another tier.
Which stat controls my class ability?
Hunter uses Mobility, Titan uses Resilience, and Warlock uses Recovery in this calculator. The result section shows the selected class ability stat.
Can I use this for PvP builds?
Yes. Choose Crucible as the activity. The calculator then gives more value to Recovery, Mobility, dueling reset speed, and cleaner ability timing.
Does the PDF download need a library?
No. This file creates a simple text PDF directly. It keeps the report lightweight and easy to use on most hosting setups.
What is the damage multiplier?
It combines surge mods, weapon surge match, selected subclass damage effect, and weapon perk percentage. It is only a comparison estimate.
Why is my energy score low?
The calculator compares selected mod energy with a modeled fifty point armor budget. Overspending or leaving too much unused space lowers the score.
Can this replace in-game testing?
No. Use it before testing. Real combat flow, ammo economy, enemy density, and team support can change a build’s true performance.
