Calculator Input

Formula Used

Target seconds = target minutes × 60 + target seconds.

Adjusted elapsed seconds = raw elapsed seconds + deaths × delay per death.

Current pace = progress percent ÷ adjusted elapsed minutes.

Required pace = remaining progress ÷ remaining available minutes.

Projected finish = adjusted elapsed time + projected progress time + guardian estimate.

Target margin = target seconds - projected finish seconds.

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Enter the Greater Rift level you want to track.
  2. Keep the target at 15:00, or enter your own goal.
  3. Add elapsed time from your current or finished run.
  4. Enter current progress as a percentage.
  5. Add deaths and expected delay per death.
  6. Estimate the Guardian fight time in seconds.
  7. Press Calculate to view the result above the form.
  8. Use CSV or PDF export to save the report.

Greater Rift Timer Guide

Why Timing Matters

Greater Rift runs feel simple at the entrance. The clock quickly changes that feeling. Every pull, pylon, death, and boss phase affects the finish. This calculator turns those moving parts into clear timing numbers. It helps solo players and groups check whether the run still has enough pace for a clean result.

What the Tool Measures

The tool uses the normal fifteen minute target as the main finish line. You enter elapsed time, current progress, deaths, boss estimate, and level. The calculator then finds remaining time, progress speed, required speed, and projected finish. It also shows the gap against your chosen goal. That makes it useful for pushing, farming, and comparing practice attempts.

Reading Progress Pace

Progress percentage is the main pace signal. A run at fifty percent after seven minutes may look safe. A long boss fight can still ruin it. The boss estimate field prevents false comfort. Add a realistic value based on your build. Fast trash killers often need extra guardian time. Single target builds may need less time near the end.

Handling Death Delay

Deaths matter because they break rhythm. They also add delay. This page lets you enter a custom delay per death. Use the value that matches your personal tracking method. You can count only respawn waits. You can also include lost walking time. The flexible field keeps the report practical.

Saving Run Reports

Use the CSV export for spreadsheets. Use the PDF export for simple run notes. Both options include the main inputs and results. This helps you compare level attempts across sessions. It also helps teams review who was on pace and where time vanished.

Improving Future Attempts

For best results, update the form after each major floor. Record progress before and after pylons. Note whether elites were skipped or killed. Compare projected finish against the final clear time. Over time, you will learn which maps deserve a push and which ones should be reset early.

Practical Use

This timer is not a game overlay. It is a planning and review tool. It works best when used between runs, during pauses, or after a clear. With steady records, you can set better goals and make calmer decisions.

It also supports repeated testing because small timing differences become easier to see when every attempt uses the same fields and target again.

FAQs

What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates whether your Greater Rift attempt is on pace. It uses elapsed time, progress, deaths, and expected Guardian time to project a final clear time.

What target time should I use?

The default target is 15:00. You can change it for personal farming goals, speed practice, group reviews, or stricter push targets.

Why is Guardian time separate?

Guardian time can change the result a lot. A build with strong area damage may clear trash fast but still need more time for the final boss.

What does death delay mean?

Death delay is the extra time you want to add for each death. You can include only respawn time, or include walking and recovery time too.

Can I use this after a completed run?

Yes. Enter the final elapsed time, progress as 100, and Guardian estimate as zero if the boss is already included in your clear time.

Why does the required pace show unavailable?

It appears when no usable time remains after elapsed time and Guardian estimate. In that case, the run is already outside the selected target window.

What is the CSV file for?

The CSV file saves your input and output values. You can open it in spreadsheet software and compare many runs over time.

What is the PDF file for?

The PDF file gives a simple printable report. It is useful for notes, coaching, team review, or tracking push attempts manually.
