Example Data Table

Target ml Strength Base Target Ratio Flavor Additive Waste
30 ml 3 mg/ml 100 mg/ml 30 PG / 70 VG 10% 1% 2%
60 ml 6 mg/ml 100 mg/ml 50 PG / 50 VG 12% 0.5% 3%
120 ml 1.5 mg/ml 48 mg/ml 40 PG / 60 VG 8% 0% 1%

Formula Used

Working volume = target volume × (1 + waste percentage ÷ 100).

Nicotine solution ml = working volume × target strength ÷ nicotine base strength.

Flavor ml = working volume × flavor percentage ÷ 100.

Additive ml = working volume × additive percentage ÷ 100.

Plain PG ml = target PG ml − PG from nicotine − flavor ml − additive ml.

Plain VG ml = target VG ml − VG from nicotine.

Total cost = each ingredient volume × its cost per ml.

How To Use This Calculator

Enter your target bottle volume first. Add the desired strength and base strength. Enter carrier percentages for the base. Set the target PG and VG ratio. Add flavor, additive, waste, and cost values. Press Calculate. Review the result above the form. Use CSV or PDF for records.

About This Calculator

The ECigExpress 4.0 Calculator helps plan a small liquid blend with clear input control. It focuses on target volume, target strength, carrier ratio, flavor share, additive share, and cost. The page keeps every field in one column based workflow. The input grid still changes across screens. Large screens show three fields per row. Medium screens show two. Phones show one.

Why The Planner Is Useful

A mixing plan can fail when the carrier ratio is ignored. This tool separates nicotine solution, flavor, additive, plain PG, and plain VG. It also estimates waste. The waste setting is helpful for bottle transfer loss. The cost fields help compare trial batches. They also help show how a larger batch changes total spend.

Advanced Options

The calculator supports mixed carrier nicotine. You can enter the PG and VG share inside the nicotine base. Flavor and additives are treated as PG based materials. This is a common planning assumption. You can change the flavor or additive percentages for stronger or lighter recipes. The notes box lets you record brand, label, date, or any lab reminder.

Reading The Results

After submission, the result appears above the form. It shows the needed nicotine solution first. Then it shows flavor, additive, plain PG, plain VG, final volume, expected strength, and estimated cost. If the requested PG or VG target is not possible, the page shows a warning style note. That can happen when flavor, additive, or nicotine carrier already exceeds the target carrier amount.

Good Planning Habits

Use clean units before entering values. Keep all strengths in mg per ml. Keep all volumes in ml. Keep percentages between zero and one hundred. Review the output before using any plan. Save CSV for spreadsheets. Save PDF for a quick record. Keep separate notes for safety data, legal limits, ingredient age, and container labels. This tool is only an estimator. It does not replace product instructions, qualified advice, or safe handling rules.

Export And Records

The CSV file stores numbers in separate columns. The PDF file gives a compact summary for printing. Both exports use the last submitted inputs. They help compare tests without retyping values. Recheck every saved plan before you repeat a batch later.

FAQs

1. What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates ingredient volumes, carrier ratio, expected strength, working volume, total cost, and cost per ml from the values entered in the form.

2. Why is waste allowance included?

Waste allowance adds extra volume for transfer loss, measuring residue, and bottle handling. Set it to zero when no extra amount is needed.

3. Are flavors counted as PG?

Yes. This page treats flavor and additive entries as PG based. Change the formula if your ingredient uses another carrier.

4. What happens if PG becomes impossible?

The result displays a review note. This usually means nicotine carrier, flavor, or additive already exceeds the selected PG target.

5. Can I export the calculation?

Yes. Submit the form with the CSV button for spreadsheet data. Use the PDF button for a compact printable report.

6. Does the page store my data?

No database is used in this file. Values are processed during the request and shown back in the form.

7. Can the cost fields be left empty?

Yes. Empty cost fields are treated as zero. The calculator will still estimate volumes and ratios normally.

8. Is this a safety guide?

No. It is only a math estimator. Follow laws, labels, safety sheets, and qualified guidance for any handled material.
