Formula Used
This calculator uses a practical weighted scoring model. It starts with a base score of 50. It then adds dignity points, house points, aspect points, speed points, shadbala adjustment, varga support, dasha weight, Moon support, relationship score, and selected condition modifiers.
Final Score = 50 + Dignity + House + Aspects + Speed + Shadbala + Varga + Dasha + Moon Support + Relationship + Modifiers.
The final value is limited between 0 and 100. This keeps every output readable and comparable. The longitude is also used to detect the sign, degree in sign, nakshatra, and pada.

About this Astrology Calculator
This calculator is designed for structured chart review. It does not promise fate. It organizes symbolic factors into a clean working score. The tool accepts birth data, chart settings, planetary longitude, dignity, house position, aspects, motion, and supporting strength values. Then it builds a practical index that helps compare one placement with another.
Chart Method
The method uses simple arithmetic rules. It is inspired by classical astrology workflows, where a planet is judged by sign, house, dignity, aspects, motion, and divisional support. It also lets you include ayanamsha, house style, and zodiac mode as notes. These settings help users document their chart context before exporting results.
Why the Score Helps
A single score cannot replace interpretation. Still, it can reveal balance. High scores suggest supportive placement conditions. Moderate scores suggest mixed results. Low scores suggest stress, correction, or extra attention. The result also gives a tone label, strength percentage, sign, nakshatra, pada, house quality, and notes.
Practical Use
Use this page when studying several planets. Enter the same chart settings each time. Change the planet name and longitude. Adjust dignity, aspects, and modifiers according to your chosen tradition. Save each output to CSV or PDF. The example table shows how different placements may be compared.
Advanced Review Ideas
For deeper study, run every visible planet through the same settings. Compare angular houses with trine houses. Notice whether a planet gains support from dignity but loses comfort through combustion. Review retrograde motion separately, because many traditions read it with special care. Keep written notes for each choice, so later reviews remain transparent and repeatable.
Because traditions differ, editable values matter. You can change the dignity option, aspect count, speed condition, varga support, and dasha weight. This keeps the calculator flexible. It can support study notes, teaching pages, client worksheets, or personal research logs without claiming one fixed doctrine. Results stay clearer when assumptions are recorded beside outputs.
Careful Interpretation
Astrology uses symbols, timing, and context. A calculator only supports the study process. It cannot judge a whole life, relationship, career, or event by one placement. Always review the ascendant, Moon, overall chart strength, dasha sequence, and real circumstances. Use this score as a worksheet, never final judgment.
FAQs
Is this an official Ernst Wilhelm tool?
No. This is an educational astrology worksheet. It uses a flexible scoring model for study, comparison, and note keeping.
Does it calculate a complete birth chart?
No. It does not include a built-in ephemeris. Enter planetary longitude from your preferred astrology source before calculating the score.
What does the final score mean?
The score estimates placement support. Higher values suggest stronger conditions. Lower values suggest mixed or difficult symbolic conditions.
Can I change the calculation style?
Yes. Adjust dignity, house, aspects, speed, shadbala, varga, dasha, Moon support, and modifiers to match your chosen method.
Why is ayanamsha included?
Ayanamsha helps document sidereal chart context. This calculator stores it as a study value, but does not compute ephemeris positions.
What is nakshatra pada?
Each nakshatra has four padas. The calculator derives the pada from the entered planetary longitude within the zodiac circle.
Can I export my result?
Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet work. Use the PDF button for a simple saved report.
Should this result decide life choices?
No. Use it only for study and reflection. Important choices need practical judgment, context, and responsible advice.
