Formula Used

Round robin tickets are built from combinations. If you enter n selections and choose by rs, the number of tickets is:

C(n, r) = n! / (r! × (n - r)!)

American odds are first converted to decimal odds. For positive odds, the formula is 1 + odds / 100. For negative odds, the formula is 1 + 100 / |odds|.

Each combination return is calculated as stake per combo × product of decimal odds. Profit is calculated as return - stake. Total stake equals the stake per combination multiplied by the number of combinations, unless you choose to split one total stake evenly.

Round Robin Betting Overview

A round robin bet turns one group of picks into many smaller parlays. This can reduce risk compared with one large parlay. A single loss may not ruin every ticket. The exact effect depends on the round size you choose. A by 2s ticket creates two-leg parlays. A by 3s ticket creates three-leg parlays. More selections create more combinations and a higher total stake.

Why the Combination Count Matters

The most important number is the count of combinations. Five selections by 2s create ten tickets. Five selections by 3s also create ten tickets. Five selections by 4s create five tickets. The calculator uses the combination formula to show this instantly. It also lets you split one total stake. That makes bankroll planning easier before you compare possible returns.

Understanding Returns and Profit

Projected return means the gross payout if that combination wins. Projected profit removes the stake from that payout. The all-win return is the best case total. It assumes every entered selection wins. The alive potential return is different. It removes combinations that already contain a losing leg. This helps when games have started and some outcomes are known.

Using Status Values

Each selection can be marked as pending, win, or loss. Pending legs keep a combination open. A loss marks any related combination as lost. All winning legs mark the combination as won. This gives a simple settlement estimate without needing a separate spreadsheet.

Practical Notes

Sportsbooks may handle pushes, voids, boosts, cash outs, and rounding differently. Odds can also move before a wager is accepted. Use this calculator as a planning aid. Review the official bet slip before making any final decision. Bet only where legal. Use limits that match your budget.

FAQs

What does a round robin calculator show?

It shows the number of parlay combinations, stake per ticket, projected returns, projected profit, and settlement status based on entered odds and leg results.

What does by 2s mean?

By 2s means the calculator creates every possible two-selection parlay from your selected legs. Each pair becomes a separate combination.

Can I split one stake across all combinations?

Yes. Choose total stake split evenly. The calculator divides your stake by the total number of combinations and uses that amount for every ticket.

Why do sportsbook payouts sometimes differ?

Books may round odds, adjust boosted markets, void legs, or apply house rules. Always compare the estimate with the official bet slip.

What happens when one leg loses?

Any combination containing that leg is marked lost. Combinations without that leg can remain alive or become won if all their legs win.

Does the calculator support negative odds?

Yes. Enter negative American odds like -110 or -150. The calculator converts them to decimal odds before calculating each return.

Is this tool connected to FanDuel?

No. It is an independent estimate tool. It does not place wagers, read your account, or guarantee sportsbook payout amounts.

Can I export the results?

Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet data. Use the PDF button for a simple report with summary values and combinations.
