Formula Used
The calculator uses custom scoring values entered in the form. The general formula is:
Total = Passing + Rushing + Receiving + Turnovers + Returns + Kicking + Defense + Bonuses
Passing points equal passing yards divided by passing yards per point, plus passing touchdowns, minus interception penalties, plus two point plays. Rushing and receiving use the same pattern with their own yard and touchdown settings.
Bonus points are added only when the selected yard threshold is reached. Defensive points include sacks, turnovers, safeties, defensive touchdowns, and the points allowed range.

Fantasy Football Point Calculator Guide
Why Accurate Scoring Matters
Fantasy football turns weekly player stats into a league score. A good calculator saves time. It also keeps your math consistent. This tool lets you enter passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, and defensive numbers in one place. It then applies your chosen scoring settings.
League Rules Change Player Value
Different leagues use different rules. Some leagues use standard scoring. Others use half point or full point reception scoring. Many leagues also add bonuses for big yardage games. This calculator supports those choices. You can edit yard values, touchdown values, penalties, reception points, and milestone bonuses.
Best Time To Use It
The best use is before waivers, trades, and lineup locks. Enter a player projection from your research. Then adjust the scoring settings to match your league. You can compare quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, kickers, and team defenses with a shared method. The result gives one total, but it also shows category points. That makes the score easier to audit.
Custom Scoring Benefits
Custom settings are important. A quarterback may look better in a league with six point passing touchdowns. A slot receiver may gain value in full reception scoring. A running back with heavy goal line work may score well even with modest yardage. Small scoring changes can shift rankings quickly.
Review And Export
The calculator also helps with review. After games finish, enter actual box score numbers. Export the result as a CSV file for spreadsheets. Download a PDF summary for notes or reports. The example table gives sample inputs, so you can understand the flow before using your own data.
Use It With Care
Always check your platform rules. Some leagues use decimal scoring. Others round yardage. Some give unusual bonuses for long touchdowns, first downs, or return yards. Use this calculator as a flexible estimator. Match the settings closely, review the breakdown, and keep the same method for every comparison.
Make Smarter Lineup Choices
A clear point total is useful. A clear explanation is better. When you see how each category contributes, you can spot weak projections, test scoring changes, and make stronger weekly decisions. For deeper planning, save several outcomes. Build a floor case, a median case, and an upside case. This shows risk clearly. It also prevents one exciting projection from controlling an entire lineup choice during close weekly calls.
