Formula Used

The calculator uses the base FP reward, investor bonus, and selected thread rate. It then estimates payment, returned FP, profit, and lock safety for each reward place.

Arc multiplier: 1 + Arc bonus percent / 100

Returned FP: floor(base reward × Arc multiplier)

Thread contribution: ceil(base reward × thread rate)

Investor profit: returned FP - thread contribution

Lock safety test: remaining FP after contribution ≤ contribution

Owner preload needed: total FP - current FP - owner planned FP - higher locks - 2 × spot contribution

A safe lock means the remaining gap is not enough for another player to pass that place. The preload value shows how many extra FP the owner should add first.

How To Use This Calculator

  1. Enter the Great Building name and target level.
  2. Add the total FP needed for that level.
  3. Enter the FP already placed on the level.
  4. Add any owner FP planned before investors contribute.
  5. Enter the investor Arc bonus percentage.
  6. Set the thread rate, such as 1.90.
  7. Add base FP rewards for P1 through P5.
  8. Press calculate and review lock safety.
  9. Use CSV or PDF buttons to save the result.

Advanced Guide For Great Building Planning

Why GB Lock Planning Matters

Great Building leveling is easier when every reward place is planned. A player may open a level too early. That can create snipes, lost rewards, or unwanted overfill. This calculator helps owners review the level before accepting investors. It focuses on Forge Point flow. It also shows the gap left after each placed lock.

Owner And Investor View

Owners usually want a clean level. Investors usually want fair returns. A 1.9 thread is common because the investor pays about the same FP returned with a strong Arc. Different groups may use other rates. This tool accepts any rate. That makes it useful for guild swaps, private locks, and special reward deals.

Understanding Safe Locks

A lock is safer when the remaining FP cannot beat the current contribution. The calculator checks that condition after each spot. If the level still has too much space, the result shows a preload need. The owner can add that amount before the investor pays. This reduces the chance of someone passing the place.

Profit And Rate Review

Investor profit depends on two numbers. The first is the reward returned after the Arc bonus. The second is the contribution requested by the thread rate. When the contribution is lower than the returned FP, the investor gains FP. When it is higher, the investor loses FP. This is useful when comparing 1.85, 1.9, 1.92, or custom threads.

Better Level Timing

The projected FP total helps owners avoid surprises. If the result still needs owner FP, the level is not fully funded. If overfill appears, too many FP are planned. Adjust owner FP, rewards, or rate before posting spots. A clean plan saves time. It also keeps investors confident.

FAQs

1. What does this GB calculator do?

It estimates Great Building contribution amounts, returned FP, investor profit, owner preload needs, and lock safety for reward places P1 through P5.

2. What is the thread rate?

The thread rate is the multiplier used to calculate investor payment. A 1.9 thread means the base reward is multiplied by 1.90.

3. What is investor Arc bonus?

It is the reward bonus from the investor's Arc. A 90% bonus creates a 1.90 reward multiplier for Forge Point rewards.

4. Why does the calculator use floor and ceil?

Returned FP is rounded down for conservative reward estimates. Thread contribution is rounded up so the requested payment is not undercounted.

5. What does owner preload mean?

Owner preload is extra FP the building owner may need to add before a spot becomes safer from being passed by another player.

6. What does overtake risk show?

It shows how many FP remain beyond the current contribution after a spot pays. A positive value means the place may need more protection.

7. Can I use custom thread rates?

Yes. Enter any positive multiplier, such as 1.85, 1.90, 1.92, or 2.00. The calculator updates every contribution accordingly.

8. Is this an official game tool?

No. It is an independent planning calculator. Always verify rewards in the game before posting locks or accepting contributions.
